Plants with extra Yield!!

Due to increase in world population, water shortage and unavailability of cultivated land scientist are now struggling for those plant crops that yield more productivity with less consumption of water, fertilizers, nutrients and pesticides by finding new efficient ways in growing food plants etc.

Purdue University researcher Burkhard Schulz found that a certain chemical would be used to reduce the size of plants without affecting the yield.

He found propiconazole a fungicide that will be used to create smaller plants that will consume less water and fertilizers etc to grow but will produce more.

Fungicide is said to be harmless to humans as it is commonly used to spray in golf courses to treat fungal dollar spot disease.

This chemical will disrupt steroid production in plants; responsible in plants growth that is why we are eating more sweet fruits and vegetables these days and in better size.
